In short: use ThinkTest for its purpose, treat people with respect, keep to the data you are allowed to see, and never use it for anything unlawful.
Purpose of this policy
This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses ThinkTest, including the content and files they upload. Each institute is responsible for making sure its people follow it.
Content that is not allowed
You must not create, upload, send or publish content that:
- is unlawful in Pakistan, including content that is an offence under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016 or the Pakistan Penal Code;
- sexually exploits or endangers children in any way;
- harasses, bullies, threatens or intimidates anyone, or is hate speech against a person or group because of religion, sect, ethnicity, language, gender, disability or similar characteristics;
- is blasphemous, or incites violence, terrorism or sectarian hatred;
- defames someone, or knowingly spreads false information about a person;
- shares someone’s private information, photos or documents without the right to do so;
- infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights;
- contains malware, phishing links or anything designed to harm devices or steal data.
Actions that are not allowed
- Accessing, or trying to access, records or accounts you are not authorised to see, or sharing your sign-in with others.
- Probing, scanning or testing the security of the Service, or bypassing its limits, without our written permission. If you find a security weakness, please report it to us privately.
- Overloading the Service, scraping it with automated tools, or interfering with other people’s use of it.
- Using the Service to send spam or advertising for third parties.
- Entering false records or documents to mislead people, employers, customers or authorities.
Rules specific to ThinkTest
- Fair play: do not take a test for someone else, use automated tools or outside help in an exam, or create several accounts to climb a leaderboard.
- Questions: add only questions you have the right to use, and report questions that are wrong rather than sharing answer keys.
What happens if this policy is broken
Depending on how serious the problem is, we may remove or block content, suspend a User’s access, suspend an account, or close it under the Terms of Service. We will tell the institute where this is reasonable. Where content suggests a serious crime, especially one involving a child, we may preserve the evidence and report it to the authorities as the law requires. If you think we acted by mistake, write to us and a person will review it.
